The Waikiti Mall has recently undergone some significant renovations.

A long-term fixture of Waikiti, the mall was originally built during the early colonization days and served as a barracks. Both exterior and interior had been showing their age, giving the place somewhat of a tired old look.

The structure of the mall remains the same of course, but with a nice bright clean new exterior, new wood panelling inside, big bright clear windows, and wall to wall carpeting. In addition, the building’s “basement” has been opened up and turned into additional floorspace.
