Our friend Lord Lisle, the intrepid aviator and author, has written a sequel to his earlier article about aviation in Waikiti.
It’s another tale of adventure and exploration, as he tries once again to fly the hazardous airs of Tangiwai. Another engaging article and a very fun read, with more great photos.

It’s been about a month since the Minaki Aerodrome opened up. Things there are still under construction in a few spots, but reliable sources tell me that the Aerodrome is around 90% complete.
In addition to being available for Waikiti residents, the Aerodrome is currently open to the public, with a general rezzing platform near the south end of the runway. Although still young, the Aerodrome has attracted interest among some flight enthusiasts throughout Second Life.
I recently found out that one such guest has written a very nice story based on his experiences flying in Colonial Waikiti. It’s well written and exciting to read. The photographs are great too. Please follow the link and have a look at what Lord Lisle had to say about his experiences flying in Waikiti.
