Sunday May 20th at 3:00pm SLT we’re celebrating our inner Nerd, with the Best in Nerd party!

As always we’ll have music, dancing, contest board, money mellon, sploder, and the usual friendly chatter and silliness.

We had a fairly good turn-out and saw some fun interpretations on the Metal theme.

SL was reasonably well-behaved, with only a bit of lag here and there, just to remind us it could strike at any time.

The best in Metal contest was won by Sandi, who’s outfit probably contained more metal than the rest of us combined! Congratulations Sandi!

The question was raised about the times and days for our parties – do they have to be on Sunday? And is 3:00pm SLT the best time? It’s a difficult call, and with people spread all around the globe, there isn’t going to be a single time or day that works best for everyone.

If anyone has a suggestion for a better time / day please let me know – IM me in-world or comment right here on the blog!

Inworld, there are interactive maps at the Clubhouse, Marina, and Market area which show what residential lots are available.

As of today, we have lots 9, 16a, 20, 21, and 22 available for rent.

Getting a head start on the party plans for April. The party will be Sunday April 22, at 3:00pm SLT.

The theme is Best in METAL – make of that what you will, it’s nicely open to interpretation.

Please also note that this month we’re partying on the 2nd last Sunday rather than the last Sunday.
